100th Day of School!

100 day activities galore were happening all day.  Our Hershey Kiss hunt was loads of fun!  The children needed to find 100 numbered kisses and place the kisses on the corresponding number on a 100's chart.  When we had filled up the chart, everyone got to enjoy 2 kisses.  The children also enjoyed making a beaded necklace, completing a 100 piece puzzle, dot painting a picture frame with 100 dots, writing a 100 day book and filling a bag with 100 different snack pieces (ten pieces of ten different snacks) to be used for mishloach manot. The children did a great job writing descriptive clues so that their friends could guess what they had brought 100 of to school.  We were especially proud of the children who wrote their own clues and read them to the class. To top off our day, we enjoyed feasting on a cake shaped like the number 100 frosted with vanilla frosting and topped with 100 chocolate chips! Of course the chips were counted by the children.
